| | John McCorry - Development Programmes Manager
John joined the Partnership in 2000. Central to John's work is the development and implementation of socio-economic strategies that connect public agencies and communities in the regeneration process. A particular focus of this development work has concentrated on improving local employability and economic activity in the north of the city. In the wider context, John works closely with the Chief Executive, the Board and Executive Committee on strategy and manages the Partnership's Development Team, coordinating a range of work programmes designed to deliver on the Partnership's priorities for regeneration. Michael joined the Partnership in November 2006 and his role is to manage the Social Economy Support Programme for the URBAN II area. Leah took up post of Employability Development Officer for EQUAL in 2005. She is responsible for the development the pilot programme, liaising with the Mater/North and West Health and Social Services Trust re Human Resources/recruitment issues and arrangements regarding work shadowing, targeting of beneficiaries for the programme, and liaison/joint working with local training & employment agencies and community groups.
